welcome... St. Laurence is a vibrant and inclusive spiritual family advancing Jesus’ work in our parish and the global community. We welcome all types of families and are one of the churches in the Diocese of New Westminster that has been given permission to bless same gender unions. We are people seeking the divine, through the lens of the knowledge and wisdom of our own time in history. We encourage questions and an understanding of the bible that, as Marcus Borg says, is “historical and metaphorical” rather than literal.
