Dear St. Laurence Parishioners,
Please join St. Catherine’s Church on Sunday, August 8 for a worship service followed by a picnic in Lion’s Park.
We will gather starting at 10 a.m. to mingle and there will be coffee. The service will begin at 11 a.m. followed by lunch. Unfortunately, because of current restrictions, we will not be enjoying a potluck but everyone will supply their own. Be sure to remember your water and a chair!
For those not familiar with the park, it is located at 2300 Lion’s Way in Port Coquitlam. The service will be held in the covered area. This section includes eight picnic tables but there are many more close by. There is a lovely children’s playground that includes a spray park. Washrooms are very close by. There’s also easy access to the Coquitlam River if anyone would like to explore a bit.
