Mapping the Ground We Stand On

January 8th, 1pm to 4:30pm

Registration: email sharon.taylor@saintlaurence.ca

Bring your own refreshment and a snack if desired.

Join us as we continue our journey towards Reconciliation.  We are still very much in the Truth  phase of that process, and we have an interactive learning opportunity this fall.

On Saturday, January 8, from 1pm-4:30pm, we will participate in Mapping the Ground We Walk On.

Our facilitators for this event will be John and Nancy Denham.  They have been trained by both Kairos and PWRDF and have been faciliating here in the Diocese for the past 6 years.  We are excited to have them join us!

Please note: proof of vaccination required.

Share Food Bank

Share Food Bank

Please remember the Food Bank during Advent. A cash donation is a great way for the foodbank to put together a hamper with all the right things for a Christmas dinner.

And, as always, food donations are most appreciated. Suggested items: canned fruit, canned meat, canned fish, canned vegetables, pasta, rice, cereal, juice, granola bars, and soup.

Food donations can be dropped off at the church Monday to Thursday, 10AM to 2PM and on Sunday mornings.

Cash donations can be done by cheque, payable to the church (write 'Share Food Bank' in the memo) or online by visiting the SHARE Virtual Grocery Store.

PWRDF

Christmas Cards, World of Gifts, Flood Response

PWRDF Christmas Cards are now available for purchase. A donation for these cards helps support the work of PWRDF. Pat Sharpe will have the cards available at the Sunday services and they will also be available for purchase in the office during the week. Donations of $25 or more will receive a tax receipt.

The World of Gifts catalogue has some wonderful ideas and you will receive a special card to give to the recipient of your gift. The money goes to PWRDF and their partners and programs. Take a look at the catalogue pwrdf.org/worldofgifts

BC Flood Emergency Response donations can be made through PWRDF. Cheques can be made out to the church with  'PWRDF BC Flood' on the memo line. Donations can also be made directly to PWRDF by calling 1-416-822-7973.
