Today, after the 10:30 service, EVERYONE is invited to stay and help do some clean up and trimming of the grounds around the church. We have some special events coming up and it would be great to have the grounds looking really nice. Listening ForwardA Variety of Ways to be Seen and Heard At Vestry, we promised to listen well as we discern what’s next for St Laurence. With a new Rector and a renewed leadership team, Listening Forward is the next step in that journey—a way to ground our future in the lived experience, hopes, and insights of our whole community. There will be a variety of opportunities for you to be seen and heard—small group conversations, one-on-one chats, surveys, even postcards. Whether you come every week or just now and then, whether you speak up often or tend to listen quietly, we will strive to hold space for your voice. Because at St Laurence, we believe the people are the church’s treasure. Jan Taylor is facilitating this work through May and June. Not in a group? We still want to hear from you! E: jan.taylor@saintlaurence.ca Your voice matters. Your hopes shape our future. |
