New Music Director - Emilia Boronco

New Music Director - Emilia Boronco

Emilia will be starting her new position as Music Director on March 1, 2024.  We are excited to welcome Emilia back to St. Laurence, and look forward to her leadership in all aspects of the music in our worship services.

Below is a little bit about her….

Emilia is a passionate music educator and music director, with over twenty years of experience. With a special love for liturgical church music.

Recently, she worked as the Music Director at St. Helen Anglican Church in Vancouver, BC, leading a well established SATB choir, organizing several concerts.

Emilia is dedicated to nurturing musical talents as a Music Teacher at St. Patrick's School in Maple Ridge, BC. There, she fosters a love for music among students, directing choirs, concert bands and musicals that bring joy to the entire school community.

Emilia's musical journey has taken her to various roles, including serving as an Organist and Choir Director at various churches and schools in Canada and Europe.

Returning to St. Laurence Anglican Church in Coquitlam, BC, where she once served as Music Director, Emilia brings back cherished memories and a wealth of experience. She believes that every musical journey is to be filled with joy, inspiration, and beautiful melodies and harmonies.
