Wedding Gifts for Curt and Tammy
A Message from the Rector & Wardens As many of you will know, our Operations Manager, Curt Bruneski, is getting married to Tammy Grimes at 3PM on Saturday, March 22 at Emmanuel Episcopal Church on Orcas Island, WA. Now that Curt is on annual leave until April 3, we have the opportunity to organize a wedding gift for them. Getting Curt to talk about what would bless them most was no easy task! With the merging of two households, they don’t need more ‘stuff,’ but they would deeply appreciate a financial gift. Whether you would like to send a card, a monetary gift, or both, now is the time! --Cards & Gifts: Please drop off or mail cards to the Parish Office within the next two weeks. We will collect all funds and present them as a total upon their return from honeymoon, along with a note of those who contributed (unless you prefer to remain anonymous). Please also keep Curt and Tammy in your prayers as they begin this new chapter in their lives.
Philip’s Availability in the Coming Weeks Our Rector, Philip, will be adjusting his schedule in the coming weeks as his husband, Raymond, undergoes and recovers from complicated open-heart surgery to address congenital heart defects. While Philip will continue to lead worship services and the Lenten Course, his working hours will vary, including his office-based hours. This also comes at a time when the Parish Office will be without Curt, so we appreciate your patience and understanding during this period. Philip expects to work from home, respond to emails, and participate in meetings online as needed. He appreciates your prayers and grace in the coming days.
Office Closed With Curt away until April 3rd, please contact Philip if you have an emergency. philip.cochrane@saintlaurence.ca |
