Morning Prayer after Easter

Morning Prayer after Easter

Weekdays - April 6 - 17 at 8:00 AM

Due to the feedback from our Lenten and Holy Week Morning Prayer, we are extending this to the first two weeks after Easter.

A 30-40 min, quiet service of scripture, reflection, psalm, and prayer. Each day this week we are sitting with Luke chapter 24, one passage at a time.

Ministry of Welcome: Join the Coffee Team

Ministry of Welcome: Join the Coffee Team

Saint Laurence has a wonderful reputation as a welcoming, caring community. A part of this, is the opportunity to have coffee, a bit of food, along with conversation with others. Coffee time volunteers help make that happen.

We need at least one more coordinator (orientation provided) and several more volunteers to be part of a team. This involves coming early, about every 5-6 weeks,
to help set up, stay after to help clean up and possibly bring a little bit of food to share.

I was told this week, that the camaraderie in being part of a team is a wonderful place to connect with others.

If you would be willing to volunteer or if you have any questions, please speak to Sylvia Wallis or contact the office; office@saintlaurence.ca or 604-936-5423.

Altar Guild: Call for Volunteers

Altar Guild: Call for Volunteers

Would anyone like to join the Altar Guild?

We aim to have four or five groups of two, so that each person only has to prepare the sanctuary every four or five weeks.

If you are interested, please see Terry Newell, or contact the church office.
