We want to share that Jason Wood, our Youth and Families Minister, has prayerfully discerned that his season of ministry with St. Laurence will conclude in mid-January 2026, when his current contract ends.
Jason has submitted his formal letter of resignation, describing these years as “holy ground” - a time of joy, lasting memories, and the privilege of walking with our children, youth, and families as they discover God’s love in Christ.
We see this as a faithful response to God’s guidance - for Jason in his ministry and for Anna and Deirdre as they prepare for this transition. We encourage you to pray for the entire family during this time.
Over the coming months, we will work with Jason to explore creatively what’s next for our children, youth, and family ministries. In the new year, we will gather together to thank and bless Jason, celebrating all that God has done through his ministry among us.
