Faithful Endings: Death, Grief, and Hope

There are some things we are surprisingly reluctant to talk about. Death is one of them.

What happens when we receive a diagnosis that changes everything? How might we prepare ourselves — and the people we love — for our death? And when someone we love dies, what actually helps in the months and years that follow?

Faithful Endings is a new four-week series creating space for conversations we often avoid until circumstances force them upon us. We’ll talk honestly about death, dying, grief and hope in a setting that is safe, compassionate and life-affirming.

This isn’t about being gloomy or morbid, and there will be no easy answers. It is about making room for honest questions, sharing wisdom and experience, and perhaps discovering that talking about death can help us live more fully now.

Each session will stand on its own, so come to one or come to all four. There is no need to register. Friends and neighbours are very welcome.
