Alongside Hope now has an In-Canada Emergency Response Fund. In recent years, Canada has experienced an increase in the frequency and severity of natural disasters such as wildfires, hurricanes, and floods affecting thousands of families and individuals. This new fund will allow PWRDF to respond quickly when a diocese asks for support, rather than wait to raise funds for individual disasters.
To donate to this new fund, or to respond to any world disaster:
- You can make a donation to St. Laurence through an e-transfer, cash, or a cheque and clearly indicate you wish your gift to go to the In Canada Response Fund.
- You can donate directly online to Alongside Hope and select In-Canada Emergency Response
