Volunteers for Induction Service

If you are planning on attending Phillip's installation service on January 27th, and would be available to help with the clean up afterward, please speak to Eileen Duncan or email: eileenduncan45@gmail.com

As we are expecting a number of guests, it would be helpful to have many hands available.

Advent Album Crowdfunding

Advent Album Crowdfunding

Jason Wood, who as a songwriter goes by The Forest Archive, is crowdfunding to create an Advent album, called "Always Waiting." In his words, "We have so many wonderful Christmas carols and songs (and some not so wonderful, too!) celebrating the incredible news of Christ's birth, but far fewer to get us in touch with our longings and the reasons why it's such good news in the first place. That's what I want to change."

The album will be called "Always Waiting". Between Jan. 15 - Feb. 14, Jason is writing reflections for the campaign page, sharing some of his songs, and trying to raise at least $12,000 to record, mix, bring in guest musicians, create compelling album art, and master a 10-12 song album.

He plans to record Always Waiting over the spring and summer, aiming to release it before Advent 2025. Jason hopes to create a rich offering for the season - a diverse collection of old and new, personal and traditional, songs of brooding lament and joyful expectation. And he'd love your help to do it!

You can give to the campaign at http://www.fundrazr.com/AlwaysWaiting

And please share it with your networks!
