St. Laurence is seeking a part‑time Sunday Evening Fresh Expression Pioneer to help develop a new worshipping community on Sunday late afternoons or evenings, rooted in hospitality, Scripture, conversation, and prayer. This ministry is especially for people whose lives do not fit traditional Sunday‑morning patterns but who are still seeking spiritual depth, community, and a place to explore Christian faith.
We are looking for someone with a mature Christian faith and a missional imagination who enjoys starting new things, building trust across different backgrounds, and experimenting faithfully within the Anglican tradition. You will work with the Rector and a small advisory group to gather a team, shape hospitable rhythms, and let a worshipping community grow organically and prayerfully over time, rather than being asked to plant a church on your own.
