A Space for Parents with Little Ones
Got an infant or toddler (up to age 3/4)? Our nursery is designed with you in mind.
It's a purpose-built room right next to the worship space, with a large window that looks directly into the sanctuary. You can see and hear everything happening in the service while your little one plays, crawls, or naps. No more stress about whether they're being too loud or worrying you're missing what's happening.
What's in there: Books, soft toys, age-appropriate activities, and space to move around. If you'd like to receive communion, just let someone know and we'll bring it to you.
Is there a nursery attendant? Not at the moment, but we do have police-checked volunteers available who are happy to help you settle in or keep an eye on your little one if you need to step out for a moment. You're not expected to manage everything alone.
First time visiting? The nursery is always open during our 10:30 AM service (10 AM in summer). You can use it however works best for you - stay the whole time, pop in and out, or just know it's there if you need it.
We're working to grow our support for families with pre-schoolers, and we'd genuinely love to hear what would be most helpful for you. Email office@saintlaurence.ca or call 604-936-5423.
