Kids Church happens every Sunday during the school year (September through June) at our 10:30 AM service. During summer months (July-August), we worship together as one community at 10 AM.
What happens: After the opening songs and prayers, children ages 4-12+ head to the children's room with a team of friendly, police-checked volunteers. We use a storytelling approach called Godly Play, which invites kids to wonder about Bible stories through creative materials, art, and open-ended questions. There's no "right answer" - just space to explore, ask questions, and discover.
Kids rejoin their families in time for Communion, so we can all share in this part of worship together.
What if my child doesn't want to go? No problem. There's a kids' table in the sanctuary with colouring sheets, markers, and quiet activities. They're welcome to stay with you the whole time.
What if it's our first time? Great! Let us know when you arrive and we'll introduce you to the team and show you where everything is. Kids can ease in at their own pace - some jump right in, others need a few weeks to warm up. Both are fine.
What if my child has particular needs? Please let us know how we can make this a good experience for your child. We want every kid to feel welcome and included.
